Who is responsible for your information
Aldila Beyond Wellness is operated by Aldicus Investments PTY LTD in South Africa. This policy explains how personal information is used when you visit aldila.co.za, place an order, use an account or membership, arrange a consultation or contact our team.
For privacy requests, email accounts@abwellness.co.za or telephone 082 253 3338. Our privacy contact address is 1 Hofmeyer Street, Vereeniging, Gauteng, 1939, South Africa. Please mark your enquiry “Privacy request”.
Information we collect and why
Orders and delivery: your name, email address, telephone number, billing and delivery addresses, chosen products, order history and payment status are used to process purchases, arrange delivery, answer questions and handle returns or disputes.
Accounts and memberships: account details, subscription and payment references, plan information, renewal history and access entitlements are used to manage your account, continue your membership and provide its benefits.
Gift vouchers: the purchaser’s details, the recipient’s name and email address, the message supplied and voucher transactions are used to arrange and administer the gift. Only provide someone else’s details when you are entitled to do so.
Enquiries and bookings: we use the contact details and information you choose to provide to respond and arrange the requested service. An event enquiry may include an organisation, date, venue, audience and event brief.
Website operation and security: technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, visited pages, referral information and interactions may be processed by the website and its security, statistics and advertising tools.
Information generally comes from you, from a purchaser arranging your gift, or from service providers reporting a payment or delivery update. Required checkout and account fields are necessary to provide the service you request. If essential information is not supplied, we may be unable to fulfil that request. Optional enquiry information is your choice.
The basis for using information
We use personal information to take steps you request before a purchase, fulfil and administer an order or service, meet legal obligations, and support legitimate business needs such as security, customer support and resolving disputes. Where consent is the basis for processing, you may withdraw it by contacting us. Withdrawal does not undo processing that was lawful before it was withdrawn.
Payments and continuing memberships
Payments are processed through the payment provider you select at checkout. Paystack and Stitch payment options are available. Existing subscription renewals remain with Paystack.
Payment providers handle payment credentials through their payment systems. The store uses transaction status, order references and supported customer, subscription and saved-payment references to reconcile payments and administer renewals. Do not send card numbers, card security codes, passwords or verification codes to us in an enquiry.
Our team manages Telegram teaching invitations. Your account and membership information help the team provide teaching access and support. Information shared through Telegram is also subject to Telegram’s terms and your profile and group privacy settings.
Consultation and wellness information
Only share wellness or health information that is relevant to the consultation or service you are arranging. General product and event enquiries do not require a medical history. If you provide sensitive information for a consultation, it is used for that specific enquiry or agreed service subject to the applicable consent and confidentiality requirements. You may contact us first to discuss a suitable way to provide it.
Service providers and information sharing
Providing our services involves website hosting and support, payment processing, delivery, invoicing, backups, security and communications. Relevant services include xneelo hosting, WordPress and WooCommerce store services, Paystack, Stitch, and the delivery service selected for your order, such as Aramex, The Courier Guy or PostNet.
The website also uses Google tools, including Site Kit, Google Tag Manager and a Google Ads tag, Burst Statistics, and a Meta for WooCommerce integration. These tools can process website-use and interaction information for statistics, attribution or advertising measurement. The information involved depends on the service and enabled features.
When you choose a WhatsApp enquiry link, the prepared message and any information you include are passed to WhatsApp. Review the message before sending it. WhatsApp, Telegram, social-media sites and other external services have their own privacy terms. You can use telephone or email if you prefer another contact route.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to establish or defend legal rights, or to investigate fraud or security concerns. Access to personal information is intended for people and providers who need it for the relevant purpose.
Information processed outside South Africa
Some external providers operate internationally and may process information outside South Africa. The applicable protections depend on the provider, the service and the requirements of the Protection of Personal Information Act. Contact us if you need information about the providers or transfer arrangements relevant to your request.
Cookies and similar technologies
The store uses cookies and similar technologies for functions such as sign-in, baskets, checkout, security and order attribution. Statistics and advertising tools may use additional browser identifiers or record interactions.
You can manage or delete cookies using your browser settings and use any choices offered by the relevant provider. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in, basket or checkout functions from working. This policy does not mean that all optional tracking is automatically blocked; browser and provider choices affect what is processed. External pages and embedded content may use their own cookies when loaded.
Messages and marketing
Order, payment, delivery and membership communications support the service you have requested. You can ask us to stop direct marketing or use an unsubscribe option supplied in a marketing message. Stopping marketing does not itself cancel an order, account or membership, or prevent essential service messages.
Keeping and protecting information
Records are retained according to their purpose, including active memberships, order support, accounting, legal obligations and dispute handling. Account and order records do not currently expire automatically after a fixed period. You may request deletion or a review of continued retention; some information must be retained where there is a lawful reason to do so.
The store uses access controls, security tools and backups to support the protection and recovery of information. No online service can promise absolute security. Please keep your login details private and contact us promptly about a suspected account or information-security problem. Backups may retain earlier records until the relevant backup is replaced or expires.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, or deletion where applicable. You may also object to certain processing or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Send your request to accounts@abwellness.co.za. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing information. You can update available account details through My account.
If you believe your personal information has been handled improperly, you may complain to South Africa’s Information Regulator. See how to lodge a complaint or email POPIAComplaints@inforegulator.org.za. The Regulator’s current contact information is available on its contact page.
Changes to this policy
The current policy and its update date will be available on this page. Please contact us if you need clarification about how a particular service handles your information.
