What is a carrier Oil:
Also known as the base oil in which the essential oil is blended for dilution and massage purposes. It enables the essential oil to be absorbed into the skin in a safe and effective way at a safe concentration. They are mostly odorless/have no aroma, should be pure, organic and cold pressed. Pure Carier oils also come from nature through plants, nuts, seeds and roots. Examples include Castor Oil, Fractionated Coconut Oil, Almond Oil, Avocado Oil, Baobab Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Jojoba oil to name a few.
What is a carrier oil blend:
A mixture of various carrier oils aiding in the absorption, slip and barrier benefits of the skin depending on various skin types and conditions. Boosts the quality and health of the skin by addressing various skin ailments such as dryness, eczema
Uses:
Topical: Apply topically on the skin for optimal skin hydration without interference with perfume or other essential oil blends.
Intermix: Wonderful to stretch concentrates and elixirs, providing glide and slip with regards to massage or lubrication and blending.
Dilution: Lessen sensitivity and dilute to stretch oils, therefore saving costs on elixirs and concentrated blends and when using on children.
Blending Information
- Dilute 1-part essential oil to 5 parts Jojoba Oil depending on skin sensitivity.
- For topical use only – not to be ingested
- For a potent remedy, blend a 50/50 combination with Aldila Castor oil and 30ml of any Aldila Embark Elixir for an ultimate body blend, bath oil or massage blend.
Special Precautions
